Jake LaCaze is a dude with a fountain pen and a microphone, who blogs and podcasts about 21st century living and writing. Jake used to write his fiction exclusively in the first-person, but he has now become so comfortable with third-person that he uses it even for bios. He grew up in northeast Louisiana and bolted to Texas shortly after getting his college degree. He put his writing ambitions to the side in the name of being a responsible adult but started devoting more time to the craft as he approached a mid-life crisis.

In his free time, Jake writes, reads, and browses the internet for pens and notebooks he knows he doesn’t need.

This site, hosted by micro.blog, is his vanity project.
