This morning Megan and I were having breakfast at OC Burgers when we happened to see a commercial for the new 2010 Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon. My first reaction was most likely a gasp at how awkward it seemed for a Cadillac.
My second reaction was, Do Cadillac customers want this? To me the Cadillac brand seems anything but practical. The sporty CTS, the bulkier STS and DTS, the enormous Escalade…Does the CTS Wagon really fit in with this line? Could the collapse of the world economy cause the rich to become more sensible and conscious of their automobile purchases? If that were the case, wouldn’t the SRX Crossover take care of that? (And Megan informed me that the SRX is cuter, so there’s also that to consider.)
It’ll be interesting to see if this works out or turns into vehicular cannibalism.
